FROM THE LONGBOX: JLA # 27

In this issue, the JLA is tipped off to the whereabouts of the Amazo android, and told they have a limited amount of time before he is online. The Amazo dandroid has the powers of the JLA. Which incarnation does not become clear until he is actually up and running. At that point it becomes a battle royale between one Android, and the entire JLA. Their only hope lies with the smallest of all The Leaguers.

    Reviews:

So after a big brawl issue, we get ... a big brawl issue. This one is just as bad ass as the last one. However, it does not hold up as much if you give it a seconds thought under the logic presented by the writers and the universe. Imagine a robot with the powers of the JLA. Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash. Those alone would end life for all of the league in a blink of an eye.

Unless the android has been programmed not to kill. Which at this point we have had no evidence of that fact.

Still it is entertaining, and it is cool to see the whole leauge together. The ending is at the same time obvious, yet I have to admit, I did not think of it. My solution would have been to send in Batman Huntress and Green Arrow. Making sure the other heroes were well out of range.

A good book. I can easily recommend. Leave your brain outside the door.
