    All lifes of Hawkman

Once more Johns doesn´t take for granted the relationship between Carter and Kendra (something he kind left in hold for some issues), opening this issue with a huge battle, in which Carter almost loses his head, just in time for a rescue from Kendra, who´s really mad at Hawkman by the fact that he was in her apartment, without a good explanation - it´s good that this book isn´t just about the action, but it´s about showing a little of the human facets behind the helmets and Johns really nailed this - Rags, as always, did an amazing issue, I particularly enjoyed a lot the action scenes in Kendra´s apartment and how he geared up Carter to confront Headhunter - this new villain is very interesting, also his goal walk together with the whole spiritual/self-knowlegde quest that Carter is doing in this series, to discover the meaning and reasons of life - there was just a little detail (and important one) that ruined the end of this issue, not because of the idea, but the way it was executed, I´m not going to spoil it, but let´s say it involves some of Carter´s previous lives haunting him.  A great issue (except from this detail), it´s all coming together in this story, the narrative, dialogues and especially the art! Highly recommended!
