This issue provides a new slant on four story classics:

• The Pied Piper (Piper Fluberblunton Goes To Town)
• Sleeping Beauty (Drinking Beauty)
• Beauty and The Beast (Golddigger and the Beast)
• Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (Snookie White and the Dwarves)

For shock value I loved the last page of the Pied Piper story. Simple and affective.

Golddigger and the Best had some of the best one-liner’s I’ve seen in a long time.

Drinking Beauty was fun but the artwork didn’t attract me. I also thought that it could’ve been pushed further than a Ronald McDonald costume.

Snookie White… While I know what this is a send up of I haven’t watched the TV show. And I’m not sure if we have an equivalent cultural group in . However, this story was fun. The best part was interpreting exactly how the writer feels about he people he was parodying.

To say that this issue is better than the last April Fool’s edition is not really saying much.  The last version contained so many misfires and unfunny situations that it can’t really be considered to be funny at all.  This version highlighted a few key trends in this series, and mainly that the less the creative team tries for the raunchy humour, the more successful they are.  Unfortunately despite the generally excellent concepts behind the main series, here the concepts come back time and aga...
