Geoff Johns. Bravo. This title is so fucking awesome. I don't think there was an issue of GL I haven't loved. Blackest Night can come whenever it wants. This issue is a giant brawl. Red vs. yellow vs. blue vs. green. I love when Hal gets all pissed and the comic fell out of my hand when Hal became a red lantern. R.I.P Laira. This issue doesn't involve much plot development but we get a much needed all out brawl.
Building on the lead-in from the previous issue, the story here spends little time getting to the action - Hal finds SInestro, the Red Lanterns ambush Hal, and then the Sinestro Corps surprisingly comes to the rescue. If this were the only aspects of the plot it would still have been a very entertaining issue but this one goes farther, reigniting old tensions between Hal and Laira and Hal and Sinestro, but also ignites new ones as between Hal and Atrocitus.
