    Rumble in the forest.

Issue 5 of the Green Arrow series.

The Story:We start with Ollie jumping in the appartement were Mary was about to get killed by the assassinated by Nyx.After jumping into the streets Nyx kills a person and Ollie thinks if he puts him in the magic water to bring him back.Gallahad says that it wont work on dead people and only on people that are hurt or dying. When Ollie puts him in the water he see's Deathstorm holding the White Lantern and saying they need to find the choosen one. Also civilians come back to life as Black Lanterns, including Robert Queen.Ollie and Galahad retreat back to the White Lantern tree and after sending the dead civilian from earlier into the tree our heroes find out they need to use the tree to defeat them.So Ollie uses makeshift arrows from the tree and Galahad was throwing them into the tree. When Robert gets close to Ollie and shows him traumatic scenes from his childhood but still was able to get his life together. After sending him into the tree Ollie decide's to face his future head first and wil confront the Queen.

The Good:We see how the past influenced Ollie in major ways and how he it influences the man he is today. Also the inclusion of Nyx as a possible consistent villain for Ollie is great since he doesn't have that many of his own villains. Also I cannot wait to see the confrontation between the our hero and villain wil have the next issue. As always Diogenes's art is spectacular as always.

The Bad:I taught that Ollie being able to adjust so quickly to a new arrow was kinda lame and I would have wanted to see him struggle some more. But it's only a nitpick.

The Verdict:This issue was great, awesome art, great fight scene and this was great preparitions for the next issue. This is a buy.

Cover The cover art for this series is always great and is even better than the inside art and that is pretty good. The art on the cover is one of the reasons I always pick this series up. Story Green Arrow fights a mysterious assassin woman to save Mary and the fight goes outside that way Mary is not in harm way. The assassin takes an innocent civilian and kills him and she runs away. Ollie takes him to the Forest and Galahad tell him it is a mistake to put him in the water he is dead. Ollie do...

Return of the Emerald Archer's good stories 0

Following directly on from the slightly unexciting previous issue this story starts with another character introduction and a fast paced elegant fight scene. The issue focuses, in part, on the Star City Forest and the White Lantern tree whilst still telling a story about Ollie himself.    The Good:   Once again the art is fantastic and whilst you have some very intricately detailed panels, the action depicted in the imagery is always clear and easily understood. The fight scene at the beginning...
