    Decent and safe first issue...

In "Green Arrow" #1 writer J.T. Krul gives Oliver Queen a physical makeover but delivers a fairly safe and mundane first issue. The book begins with Oliver already established as both a millionaire corporate owner and Green Arrow. He already has his gadget arrows and eye-in-the-sky intel source. Krul's best moments are in the scenes that develop the corporate structure at Queen Industries. There are also some pretty good action sequences but they are pretty run-of-the-mill. My bigger gripe was with some of the dialogue particularly during the action scenes. It's kind of cheesy and at times eye-rolling. But again, Krul is playing it safe and his first issue does introduce the characters well even though there isn't much of a story pushed forward.

I'm a big fan of Dan Jurgens' art and here he does a good job. I liked the new look of the younger Green Arrow and especially liked his new costume. But the art didn't look as solid as most of Jurgens' past work. It's not that it looked bad but it just doesn't have the sharp, polished look I expected. But there is plenty to like about the art and visually it gets the job done.

"Green Arrow" #1 didn't bowl me over and I'm not sure that it sold me on sticking with it. But I do like the character that Krul gives us and the potential is there for some fun stories in the future. I'm probably in for at least one more issue and I actually expect it to really take off. But I've been wrong before.

We had to wait a while but we get a good Green Arrow story 0

Cover I enjoyed the cover for this issue a lot. Even though Green Arrows beard is classic I also like Green Arrow with a five o’clock shadow. I also loved the art for the cover because it looked so real. So, far this is my favorite cover out of all the 52 new titles for the reboot. Green Arrow kind of reminds me of the Green Arrow from Smallville, which I love because Green Arrow was one of my favorite characters from Smallville. Story Green Arrow goes and tries to stop people at a party ...

Review for Green Arrow #1.  The Story: Ollie goes to arrest some freaks that have beaten people and have posted it on youtube. We see some of Queen Industries and the people who are helping him.  The Good: You know ive seen some negative comments about these villains but I find them interesting. These are the type of villains that think of dressing up in costumes and fighting superheroes is just stupid and seems very posur esk wich I like for some reason. I have a feeling were going to some corp...
