This June, one of the Avengers & Guardians of the Galaxy’s classic villains returns to the forefront in KORVAC SAGA #1 – a brand-new Secret Wars series! Fan-favorite writer Dan Abnett (Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians 3000) and newcomer Otto Schmidt take you inside the mind of one of the Avengers deadliest, and most misunderstood foes.

In the Forest Hills domain, Lord Michael Korvac governs over all, ruling with an iron fist. But not all is as it seems in his corner of Battleworld. Tensions run high with neighboring lord Simon Williams and his squad of Avengers. Full-scale war is all but assured. Korvac and his royal guard – the Guardians of the Galaxy – stand at the brink of destruction from within and without.

Secret Wars is so confusing, but I can't wait anyway. My wallet is going to commit suicide during Convergence, then respawn and commit suicide again in Secret Wars

Liking the art for the Guardians in that cover more than the art in their own book. But I wonder if Abnett's Guardians 3000 has any connection to the events that lead up to Secret Wars. The Stark robots that Iron Man made in that time line makes me thing their are some connections.

Awesome, was wondering what Abnett and Guardians 3000 would be doing during Secret Wars.

So Forest Hills is one of the Classified zones? I searched in the Battleworld map and didn't found it. I suppose then than this is one of the unknown territories.

Finally give Wonder Man the spotlight.

This looks interesting, although admittedly I don't know much about Guardians 3000. This series looks promising though. Very interested to see where the "new" Marvel U is heading after Secret Wars. Thank God they have promised us no reboot but still hard to figure out what the endgame is here. Timeline reset of some kind but to when? I would hate to see Cyclops arc reset in any way. Such a long history of seeing what has shaped him and brought him here. Just 1 example of many of course.
