Would you kill someone in your family if they got bitten by a zombie?

Let's say you're in a post apocalyptic Walking Dead style world. One of your family members has just been bitten by a zombie and will soon become one of them. Would you be able to end their life?

Scenario 1: Happens a few minutes after they've been bitten. They beg you for a mercy kill. Do you do it?

Scenario 2: They've already turned and are just about to attack you. Do you kill them?

Yes to both scenarios, as difficult and as emotional as it will be.

Scenario 1: I can't do it.

Scenario 2: Still can't do it.

Yep. No questions asked.

It sucks but you have to detach quickly in situations like this.
