Pottermore early access accounts being sold on EBay O_O

WTF?

I was only notified about the Pottermore thing today and am waiting to get a chance to get an account (as a proud HP fan) but was just told by a mate that people are selling their accounts on EBay!

INSANNNEEEE Its a site that will be fully open to the general public by October... why would people buy these accounts!! you can get one free every day and there are another 6 days to go!

Some people are very impatient.

But they are going for £30 up..... one person has it up for £750 buy now!! insssannneeee
