Most terrifying thing to ever happen to you.
Yesterday i spilled some Ramen in my microwave after waiting for it to cool.
flagged for almost killing me.
@xwraith: im considering a bike but I don't want to die yet. So... if I get one will I die?
@avatar_of_green: Not likely. I was going down a hill too fast when it happened, and hit the brakes too late.
@xwraith: Ouch. That scares me. I have a good friend who tipped his over and got road rash on his arm and back worse than I have ever seen. It literally took off part of his tattoo.
But theyre so affordable and cheap to fix compared to cars. Im sick of cars.

Ohhhhhhh shit, owie, that sounds awful.
@ecstaticgrace: His story sounds like part of an Afroman song lol.
One time when I was 11 I stepped into a Snake Nest, and next thing I know I'm surrounded by like 5-6 Snakes. They were Water Mocoasins and I was a good 2 miles away from my house and I didn't have a phone or anything, so I didn't like my chances of getting out of there if they bit me. I straight up punted one and it flew like 20 feet into a tree, then took off running. That was definitely pretty terrifying.
Another time I was riding one of those Sky Swing things, and the defective seatbelt failed to latch. It wasn't super fast or anything, but I was still like 75 stories up without any support. The worst part is that the seats tilted so I was just hanging onto the sides of the seat for dear life.
Another time I was Biking on this really mountainous trail with some friends. I was going way faster than I should have and doing jumps over little trenches in a hill. On the last jump my front wheel hit the front of the French and I went flying. I went flying over the side, broke my arm, and narrowly missed falling off a much larger drop. Luckily I wasn't alone so I got the necessary medical attention.
All three of these were insanely terrifying.
I got hit by a car once.
Wasn't nearly as serious as I thought it was.
respect gets hit by a car causally tells it on a comic site like it was nothing.
@dawnone: Oh no, I was screaming like a baby when I got hit, made a huge scene.
But it wasn't actually a serious injury is what I meant.
did you atleast hit the guy who did it. jk
@dawnone: Considering I was wailing and wallowing on the ground, nope.
The guy felt really bad about it and did everything you're supposed to do in that kind of situation so I probably wouldn't have done it even if I could have.
respect.
Seeing the aftermath of my mother getting physically assaulted by another family member was pretty scary. Not raped or nothing (wasn't that bad, she was more like pushed and thrown) but still was a lot to take in and so I kinda just hid in my room while they screamed and fought it out.
And cried lol
Had to be about nine or ten though (maybe eleven) at the time.
I've stepped on multiple legos on multiple occasions while being barefoot. Yet here I am telling my fellow brethren about my tale of survival.

haha finally a real man here all the people above are softies.
I had a appendicitis attack when I was 10 or so. I thought I was dying for sure, worst pain of my life. Plus I'm afraid of needles and the dentist... Imagine my reaction when they said they were going to put me under for surgery...
I also have chronic Athsma, but it's sporadic not activity related, and I randomly had one while a an hour or so from home, left my inhaler. Luckily someone with me had Athsma as well, and had theirs.

Wow, that's some unimaginable luck right there.

Tell us OP.
@jonez_: Believe me I know... Lol
I've been attacked by violent drunk strangers a few times, never ended up getting too bad thankfully.
The first time I had a Migraine was also a bit worrying, I didn't actually have my first migraine until I was like 19, I thought they were just supposed to be bad headaches, didn't know about the whole partial blindness and not being able to feel your hands and such.
To be honest some of the most scared times have been kind of silly, such as searching for pets that have got out of the garden.
You've also got the times when you get lost as a child, I'd imagine that's happened to everyone at one stage

Went on a hiking trip with some friends. We climbed up a Active Volcano, but it was dormant. So as I was climbing I slipped and fell into the mouth of it and had to climbed out, because I was scared it was going to activate again.
Watched Frankenfish one time when I was like 8, wouldn't recommend. Slept with a night light for 3 years.
I had to drive over the Mixmaster in Dallas once. I'm terrified of heights. I want to overcome my fear of the Mixmaster, though it won't be easy.
About a year ago this girl took me back to her house after clubbing, we banged and then she told me I should probably leave before her dad gets back from his night shift. I said yeah that's a good idea but she sounded scared when she said it, I asked why and she said he's crazy racist, then we heard the door open down stairs and I did a mad rush putting my clothes back on, but I wasn't fast enough and I was way too loud. He came upstairs to see what all the noise was and he saw me and I swear to God I'll never forget the look in his eyes: pure unadulterated hatred, he lunged at me and I dashed past him outside and legged it back home.
Hey, at least you smashed.
It's a toss up between a couple of things honestly. Lets see. The time I was trapped under water and drowned, was pretty scary. Um, the time I survived a tornado tearing the house I was in to shreds was pretty horrible. Being a single mom was also pretty freak'n scary at first, as well.
I used to be completely terrified when trying to talk to girls I found very attractive, and it got worse when they touched me even for a hug.
But other than that..I've been shot at as a kid growing up in Florida with my older cousins. That was pretty scary. The mean dogs in people's yards almost made me piss myself running away a couple times. Probably the worst was when I saw a fish bigger than me (I think it was a Sunfish) once while swimming off the coast of Ft.Lauderdale when I was 10. I swear I swam half a mile in less than 2 minutes that day.
