Favorite Transformers series

What's yours? Whether it be G1, Beast Wars, one of the comic book series, or yes..even the Bayformers.

Prime. I hated Transformers before that.

Beast Wars: Zero human characters

• Transformers Prime(Like holy shit that show was so damn good!!!)

• The Transformers Unicron cartoon series Trilogy(Was my first introduction to Transformers as a kid and it still holds up pretty well.)

Transformers Prime easily it was an amazing show

Armada. Best version of Starscream.

If you don't say Bayformers chances are you've got very good taste

Wish they would remake G1 with modern CGI

G1/IDW

Generation 1:

G1 and Beast Wars.

Prime by far. Beast Wars was trash.

Beast Wars is the best!

Nothing else comes close.

It's the best written series. They used a smaller cast of characters so they could flesh each character out more. They often had interesting (sometimes dark) themes and storylines.

About the only criticism I can understand people saying about it is the use of CG animation. It's early CG animation, so it's quite clunky.

I personally prefer traditional animation much more than even good CG animation. In a way though, that is a testament to how great the writing is on this show. That even though I usually despise CG animation, I still ended up loving this show.

p.s. I will give some love to G1, since it's just a classic. I was a bit too young to appreciate it at the time though.

Beast Wars is the only one that interests me.

Some of the best characterization in any kid's show.

Beast Wars rekindled my love of Transformers and G1 is what I grew up with and since they are the same continuity Imma cop out and say both.

I liked Armada as well, liked seeing characters like Ultra Magnus, Scourge, and such show up
