Evil Dead! Who Here's a Soldier of Darkness?

Got around to watch Army of Darkness yesterday...and I loved it! There where a few issues with it, but all minor. (one being that it really needs one last sequel to go full 360 and defeat the evil of the Necronomicon. I mean, blowing up a skeleton hardly works to rid time of evil.)

So anybody else a fan of Ash Williams? Are you up for the crap, I mean, re-make launching soon?

And lastly....are you with the Army of the Dead? Or Ash William's Housewares?

I LOVE Ash Williams and the OG Evil Dead is my favorite horror film ever.

I would also like to mention that I am 'with' the Army of the Dead also.

@Necrotic_Lycanthrope: Go check out the Brisco County Jr. if you want to marvel at Bruce doing some great television. I loved the show so of course it was canceled far too soon but it was so great while it lasted. He did the cowboy thing way better than that p***y Norris ever did.

Yup. A full on remake. Word on the bones is that Ash will be a girl NOT called Ash. If that makes any sense. :/

I watched the Evil Dead,I need to try and watch the Evil Dead 2 sometime.

I can understand why Ash is a dick in Army of Darkness. It's a coping method some people display when under intense amounts of stress. I love the slapstick because it's not supposed to be a "scary" film. Evil Dead 1 was the penultimate of fear, while the sequels explored the ridiculousness you could do to corpses without making it a flop film.

Plus the make-up was great for such a low budget series of films.

And the metal gauntlet is alchemical. Ergo it's magic logic, not real logic. :P
