I honestly don't see the similarities in fashion and music. Travis seems more gritty and more bombastic and A$ap Rocky is more stylistic and suave to me.
The only aspect that either of them blatantly share are the braids.
Nast and Ian Connor were just on some puerile ish when they were addressing his fashion, with Nast claiming to be the only rapper rocking Stone Island clothing before he blew up, and he—for some obscure reason—was hot over Travis wearing it.
The actual accusations made by them had nothing to do with Travis' music. It was just Nast and Ian being fashion divas. The situation is so petty that it isn't worth acknowledging in the slightest, and I'm almost ashamed that I'm knowledgable of it.
