Hyperion's red hair would compensate for Superman's now-missing red trunks.

what version of Hyperion do you have in mind? There were several of them, some good, some evil.

Then Superman would be a greater hero in Marvel and Hyperion will be a jobber.

Are you sure? After they Captain America was branded as terrorist during Civil War, I don't want to think what kind of treatment awaits the Big Blue Boyscout.

@Kairan1979: It was part of the story... Both Tony Stark and Captain America's sides have supporters as well as critics. Some might say that Captain America is a terrorist but others in that story arc still considered Captain as a great hero. And the fact that the story follows as Captain America dies... many cried. When reborned during Siege, he appeared to be more badass, cooler, and a greater hero than ever. I can even imagine the looks on the faces of Marvel writer's when they get a hand on the rights to write a Superman story... they'll have a big grin and will do everything to write the best of Superman to maintain or even increase their popularity.

I found the Supreme Power Saga written by J. Michael Straczynski to be alot better than the stories DC were writing for Superman at the time. Plus I liked that Hyperion's origin was a mystery, and although you could see that he generally wanted to help people... their was always that element that he might snap and go on a rampage. I found his character to be alot more interesting than Superman for a time. Now though im quite enjoying what they are doing with Action Comics in the New 52.
