@moywar700: I felt the characterization of the first FF film was fantastic. Every actor, even Jessica, fit the roles of the characters we know (not counting Doom). Ioan, particularly, was monumental as Reed. I hate Reed, but I have to respect the character's personality with how Ioan delivered it. All we need is someone who could properly play Doom, a decent screenwriter, and we're set. What storyline would you pick for that movie?
This.
I personally have never read a single comic with the Fantastic Four or any of their main characters in it until I picked up the AvX comics, and I've only seen them in a couple episodes of cartoons; the movies were my main exposure to them, and I thought the first was pretty good (even if I can't remember it all). The second one I remember more clearly, and I wasn't a huge fan of it. Galactus seemed kind of stupid. In every way. Lol. He's a giant god-man, not a friggin' space cloud... Graah, even I know that one.
Still, I'd like a new one. They're a pretty fun team on the screen.
I can't wait for Iron Man 3, Guardians of the Galaxy or Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The 2000's have been very kind, overall, with superhero films. It's almost the dawn of a new age, such that superhero films are becoming one of the standards for film making. And it couldn't have come at a better time.
