Poll Toriko Planet vs one piece planet (27 votes)

Toriko planet is bigger 74%
One one piece planet is bigger 22%
Theyre the same size 4%

So according to vs battle wiki one one piece is around 1.1 million kilometers while toriko is around 220 thousand , so do you think this is true, do you think the one piece planet is around 4 times bigger ,or can fit 70 toriko planets inside of it , or 8000 earths inside of it.

Mind you this calc is very important, since mother flame being large planet level relies only on the 1.1 million estimation.

Lol no way OP world is larger than Toriko's. Well, I guess I can't say for sure, but Godbless Mitsutoshi for giving a more clear indication of the planet's size than any of the big 3.

From what I can tell, the One Piece planet from all context clues, island sizes, numbers, moons etc point to it being at least Jupiter sized. The Toriko planet is smaller than Saturn.

The difference is we have an exact number for the size of the Toriko planet but we don’t for One Piece.

Thats the 1.1 million hes talking bout, as you can see if the OP planet was any smaller than that , like the size of the toriko one, it likely would drop down to small planet level for the calc.

Also this is a calc i did, causing an earthquake in new york thats so devastating that even in mongolia 10000 kilometers away some buldings start falling apart (magnitude 7 earthquake even as far away as mongolia) would yield 5.794287e+29 or like 110 exatons (moon level is 30 exatons)

yeah the way to calc eartquake energy is good, but the planet size surprised me a bit , at first i thought it said 110 thousand kilometers and i was like wow op planet is like 2.5 times the size of earth but then i read again and it was 1.1 million kilometers. The earthquake method is good tho, it just relies on the planet size.

Nevermind i checked again and it seems weird that they it caused a 11.5 richer magnitude earthquake 715262 kilometers away.

Considering it took 6 days for Mother Flame shockwave to travel across the planet, that would make OP planet even smaller than 200k km. So, I'm not sure how VsBattle got it higher than 1 million, but I suspect it's the usual One Piss fancalc wank.

@molt: i will play devil's advocate here. If it took 6 days for the shockwave to spread, doesn't that mean the planet is huge since covering more distance should = more time? If not then how in the hell does a shockwave take 6 days to spread? Slowest moving shockwave ever then.

There is no way to tell exactly how big OP world is, any fancalc is therefore just math based speculation.

Toriko's world size is know and given on panel, so there is no doubt about it.

They could be the same size for what we know.

@heatforce: It's about 13-14 times bigger than RL earth based on my estimation, and slightly bigger than Jupiter. But not anywhere close to a fraction of star-sized or solar system-sized like a lot of One Piece die-hard stans claim it to be.

Until OP gives better information, the planet is Earth sized by default.

@shadyyyyyy: Shaking a large planet simply can't be large planet level unless it looked like this

the thing is large planet is just arbitrary , basically shaking a large planet can be large planet level , NOT LARGE PLANET as in being able to destroy the planet youre shaking, but large planet as in being able to destroy a smaller planet that is still considered large, the reason one piece planet shaking is large planet level is because On vs battle wiki large planet is Neptune with 155,600 kilometesr, but One piece on there is 1,1 million kilometers vs battle wiki , so its not really shaking a large planet to be large planet level, its more like shaking something 512 times bigger than a large planet (since its cubed 8 cubed is 512 ) is large planet level , i understand your confusion tho, vs battle wiki terminology isnt the best. So yes assuming the one piece planet is 1,1 million kilometers it would be large planet for shaking it violently, not large planet as in being able to destroy the 1.1 million kilometer planet, large planet as in being able to overcome GBE of a much smaller (512 times in terms of volume) planet of Neptune. So it makes logical consistency on their site, so yes the calc itself is fine, its just the other calc it relies on ( the one that calcs the one piece planet at 1.1 million kilometers) is whats really debatable.

It all depends on the intensity of shaking really.

@heatforce: Lol I'm not a Toriko fan, but I think it's a cool series. I actually like One Piece more and have watched most of it. I don't like people fancalcing One Piece planet through pixel scaling and whatnot. I think it's fair for the battle forums that until Oda gives an actual number the planet's size shouldn't be assumed to be bigger than Earth. And what do you mean about "some things"? You conceded in the Karathen thread the other day iirc 🤔

@shadyyyyyy: energy needed to induce long lasting planetary earthquakes is not planet level. Not even close. Strong Seismic waves bounce around the Earths interior with a powerful enough impact, making it ring like a bell.
