Mjonir vs Power Cosmic

I've heard alot of people say that Mjonir is more powerful, can do more things than The Power Cosmic. Whether it's Galactus or The Silver Surfer, is this really true? I would think that both Mjonir and The Power Cosmic would be about equal.

The Power Cosmic pretty much lets Silver Surfer have an excuse to do anything he needs to do for the plot and when asked how he did it his response all the time is "The Power Cosmic".

I've also heard it varies and what not, but I really don't understand why that makes a difference. Both Galactus and Silver Surfer have the Power Cosmic, but just because Galactus has more, it shouldn't mean that he can do more things. Power Cosmic is Power Cosmic, it will always have it's abilities, regardless of how much you have of it, but I guess that the "amount you have equals what you can do" is what Stan Lee intended.

@silversurfer89: What's funny though is that Surfer seems to do a lot more with the power cosmic then Galactus ever does. Galactus generally just uses energy blasts or relies on his tech.

Pretty much but as someone else brought up it depends on the amount of power cosmic you posses. The greater the amount of power cosmic the more you can do. It seems like the op is talking about Norrin(silver surfer) in that case he is more powerful then mjolnir......

As others have stated, it kind of depends on the amount of Power Cosmic one possesses.

Although, it's my understanding that the PC allows you to manipulate the forces of nature but only as far as the laws of nature permit. It's not like magic where you can change the laws of nature. It doesn't allow you to warp reality either.

Mjolnir on the other hand, is a magical artifact. So it may possess greater versatility, provided Thor were knowledgeable about such things.

Well, from my understanding, Galactus has the Power Cosmic, and when he is fully fed, he is supposed to be as powerful as Eternity, and everyone here knows that Eternity is more powerful then Mjonir, so yeah, it's kinda confusing.
