Sorry the formatting is weird

So I've structured is so that "comic forces" are more powerful than "lesser cosmic entities", but less powerful than "essential cosmic entities".

Phoenix force is basically second to one above all though ?:

That is what some Phoenix fans say these days. I will at least vouch that she is now around that level, but there are still a group of cosmic beings who are around that level.

Not to mention newer ones. Others in contention would be the Enigma (actually, there are statements saying it is a threat to TOAA, but we still have nothing concrete to prove it….yet), TOBA (scared of the Mystery (White Hot Room), but is stated to eat the multiverse in one future), and possibly

The line of thinking comes from position of the White Hot Room, which Ewing used inspiration from the Qabbalah to tell a story. The White Hot Room is the Tiphareth, meaning it is the place that connects to all parts of the tree.

The White Room is called the “Core of Creation” and it resides inside the M’Kraan Crystal, the Nexus of All Realities across the Omniverse. So, the comparison of the Tiphareth in the Qabbalah makes sense, since it leads to all parts of the Tree.

This was combined with the fact that the Beyonder states the True Phoenix is more powerful than he.

There is also the matter of the One Below All stating they are afraid of the Mystery. The Mystery is stated to be another name for the White Hot Room, alongside the Above-Place.

Even the Enigma, current enemy of the One Above All, cannot see within the White Hot Room because of it being outside space and time.

So, in context of all this, the Phoenix would have to be very high on the totem pole. Way, way, way past universal.

The problem is that Marvel sometimes has writers in the current day who act like the cosmology is still set in Classic Marvel within their story, or behaves like that, so it's weird when you have stories where LT is treated as second to top of the hierarchy still. Perhaps they were given a guidebook by Marvel's editors, an outdated one from the 80s and let them run with it without care.

Honestly, it would be better to split the Marvel cosmology by writers, like the Al Ewing cosmology which implies that no single God in Marvel is a self-sufficient god given there's no final hand to the hierarchy above TOAA, etc.

See post #4, please. It’s beyond multiversal at this point.

Good luck you'll need it. Marvel's cosmology is a mess and honestly feels like it get adjusted or added on a bi weekly, or monthly schedule.

@mage101: his reality warping ability gets more and more powerful over time as he becomes more insane. He's not on the list for his base mutant form, but given time he becomes a multiversal threat. He definitely belongs this high on the list, you should look into it he's an interesting character

@stormmagician: it is unquestionably messy but it's far more established than the DC cosmic hierarchy I feel like.

I know the character but he isn't as powerful as how you're making him out to be. Putting him above dudes like the phoenix is just blatantly wrong. He is multiversal at best but some abstract here are above that so he shouldn't be this high or even here because he is not a cosmic being.

On the contrary, DC is steadily becoming more and more established, DC and Vertigo reference each other more even, and while it's still shaky, it is far less shaky than pre-Rebirth.

Marvel literally flips between Ewing cosmology, then backflips to Classic marvel cosmology at literal random.

And galactus was called the most powerful being and thor once called odin omnipotent. Mad jim isn't as powerful as you think his feats aren't omniversal especially the current ones.
