Is this an anti-feat for Kong? Is the Monsterverse overrated because of it?

Legit Kong was unable to break free from these chains. This same Kong was able to stalemate Godzilla H2H in brute strength. Breaking these chains is something I don’t see guys like Supes, Thor, Hulk, Aquaman, etc having much trouble with

This is strange because Godzilla weighs over 100K tons and these dudes were able to toss each other like nothing.

Is this an anti feat or is it just inconsistency? Kong was about to die by drowning because he was unable to break free. And would this make the verse overrated? People have these characters stomping the Avengers and JL no sweat.

Nah. The same verse has a metal that can tank Zilla's atomic breath. Probably some super durable alloy made to restrain a titan.

OT: I have no idea what's the strength level of those chains though, however that's the second time Kong has been restrained by chains but that's probably just plot tbh

The point is, Kong was still somewhat matching Zilla's strength, so the sedation wasn't affecting his strength that bad.

The sedation came from the collar on his neck, I know logically the chemical wouldn't just leave his bloodstream but it seemed to be the explanation they gave in the movie. I wouldn't think much of it aside from being an outlier, Kong and Godzilla are obviously intended to be well above chain snapping level.

Kong is hopscotching battleships & this is what you focus on? Lol
