Just curious, I don't watch any of them regularly. But I did watch a couple of the Avengers Assemble episodes, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it wasn't the best though.
Is anyone enjoying today's superhero cartoons?
@godzilla44: Exactly.
I'm enjoying Korra
I wouldn't really call that a superhero show
Teen Titans Go! has had many moments where genuinely laughed out loud. Compare to Family Guy and The Simpsons in recent years, both of which have not.
Ultimate SpiderMan isn't that bad. I've come to like it. After a long day at school it's nice to come home and watch SpiderMan crack some jokes. I'm still a kid at heart so shows that involve SpiderMan in any form will always have a place in my heart.

Sure you can.

naaaah and I like the show it's just not based on a comic book superhero
Many of these shows had a proper end.
not ever since YJ got cancelled
^
It may be nostalgia but I prefer the animation of the 90s cartoons like Batman TAS, Spider-Man, and X-men TAS to the animation of a lot of the newer cartoons like the that new TMNT that they review on this site. I haven't watched that many modern cartoons though. I did enjoy Avengers EMH
Though I do watch these cartoons I try not to judge too harshly like most of us do. Realistically these cartoons aren't actually for the majority of us unless we're all kids. It is one of the reasons some shows just don't appeal to us anymore.
@black_arrow: True, but then again Batman Beyond was cut after 3 seasons with no real ending until the JLU episode Epilogue aired several years later, Zeta Project had no closure, Teen Titans somehow turned into Teen Titans GO, Green Lantern lasted only one season and Young Justice was canned despite having 2 awesome seasons and a huge fanbase.
@cap10nate: SO MANY PINK LASERS!!!!
not ever since YJ got cancelled
It's basically like Transformers... their goal is to sell toys because that's where a lot of their profit comes from. YJ had little luck in selling toys so they had to cancel it. For Transformers, the reason it was made in the first place was to promote their toys they had at the time. The reason why they killed off all of the original cast in the 1986 movie was to sell new toys and more toys.
Ultimate Spider-man isn't as bad as people say it is, and Avengers Assembled (They did drop the ball on Hawkeye) isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Either way I don't watch them religiously or anything if they're on Netflix I'll watch them.
I don't have cable, and I don't go out of my way to watch most things unless they're highly recommended.
Last cartoon I enjoyed was Young Justice, and I have nothing but praise for that series.
