I loved Arkham Asylum but its ending was just a disaster.

Giving the Joker powers would just take away his most frightening asset. A "normal" person out there committing atrocities. I think what's scary about the Joker is the fact that he could actually be out there.

In a way technically he kinda does have a super power he doesn't seem to feel pain, in one issue cant remember which one a mosquito landed on his hand and tried to drink his blood and died instantly so he seems to have toxic blood.

He already has toxic-blood and a healing factor.
