Mine is the Trinity vs Doomsday
Favourite Scene from Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice?
This is one of the most beautifully shot sequence in a CBM. The whole premise to this montage, the background score, the voiceovers by eminent real life personalities and the way they address the Superman problem, the allegories, the symbolism, everything was absolutely beautiful. Induces goosebumps everytime.
@deltahuman: Loved that squence too, my favorite shot is when Superman saves the family who painted the S on their roof. Though in retrospect, I guess it was kinda weird that Superman would just hover above them. Chalk it up to dramatic effect I suppose; it made for a cool shot.
Favorite scene in BvS is probably still the Batman warehouse scene though. While I have my issues with Batman’s loose definition of murder in that movie, it was undeniably awesome to see Bats fight like he does in the Arkham games and the comics.
Yes, Superman hovering above them is for dramatic effect. The scene looked stunning though. The colour grading and the set design was absolutely masterful. My favorite part of that sequence is when Superman saves the child and he kneels and hands over her to the people and then as he rises, people flock around him, as they revere him like a God among Men. The whole sequence has a lot of symbolism that takes time to decode. It addresses Superman's inner conflict around his identity. Is he a man or a God? Can he interfere and act according to his own will and change the course of history? How does he shake our faith in God? How do we address the Anthropic Principle now? Must there be a Superman? Etc.
In terms of Action Sequences, the Warehouse scene is unparalleled in terms of the technicalities, visuals and background score so yeah, It was absolutely brilliant.
The thing I've rewatched the most from this movie is the fight with Doomsday, it's everything a superpower fight between colossi should be.
But I have to admit that the best scene is probably the TV montage, because it shows exactly the indirect power Superman has simply by doing what he is doing. And it's almost a shame that they didn't really follow it up after the bombing on Capitol Hill with only a brief clip of protesters burning Superman in effigy. Capping if off is ofc the funeral... and spectacle in Washington with the memorial in Metropolis.

Came to post this but ya'll beat me to it.
Warehouse is a close second though.

This.
Oh look, the usual keirans identified as usual. Shocker.

This. Their use of media was absolutely on point.
Do you bleed scene, warehouse fight, Martha scene, Batman's parents deaths scene, Lex getting his head shaved scene, Wonder Woman appearing out of no where and blocking Doomsday's attack with her shield scene, the trial scene where the bomb goes off and the beginning scene where Bruce was trying to rescue his employees while Superman and Zod were causing property damage.
Do you bleed scene is my most favorite.
Loved how Batman showed zero fear or any reaction after Superman damaged the Batmobile and warned him. Loved how Batman looked him straight in the eye while asking him if he bleeds and then later making him bleed with the Kryptonite spear in their fight later on.

In universe I guess he was looking down in horror at the situation, before he gained his bearings and saved everyone.
Sir I think its jealousy. Not surprising given their track record.
I'd like to just remind you of Jor-El's voiceover again.
"They'll stumble, they'll fall. But in time..."
Every discussion between Bruce and Alfred. Especially the one before he began prepping for Clark.
" That son of a b**** brought the war to us 6 years ago. Jesus, Alfred count the Dead; thousands of people. What's next, Millions? He has the power to wipe out the entire human race and if we think that there is even a 1% chance that he is our enemy then we must take it as an absolute certainty"
every scene wonder woman was in.
Especially the " Oh, no. I fell down and just so happened to spread my legs towards the camera" part.
These movie deviants should be ashamed.
@worldofruin6: Yeah that wasn't even subtle. Cringeworthy to be honest.
My favorite scene is this: Because of how bad it looks.
Either the Warehouse scene or “Does the world need Superman scene?” I honestly hated the final battle with Doomsday.
There's a lot of great scenes:
- Does the world need a Superman?
- Warehouse fight.
- Wonder Woman's entrance.
- Beautiful Lie opening.
- Rooftop scene between Lex and Supes.
- Wayne Manor scene.
- Batman's first appearance.
And others I've probably forgotten. I need to rewatch that movie.
So many:
- The Superman news debate (the one deltahuman shared in post #2)
- Batman warehouse scene
- WW joins in the fight
- Superman sacrifices himself
- Batman vs Superman
- Lex Luthor talks with June Finch (the one ANTHP2000 shared in post #29)
God damn I love this movie.
The Warehouse Fight scene was one of the best CBM action-pack sequences ,other then that WW entrance scene was also good

This scene. deltahuman also explained it pretty well.
The warehouse scene as many others have pointed out
The Red Capes are Coming scene.
People Hate What They Don't Understand scene. It really ties in with Gods Among Us scene because of the people's reactions to Superman. He's trying so hard to help and his mother has to remind him that he's not indebted to us and that he doesn't have to help, but can be whatever we want him to be if he so chooses. The theme of choice was something they had going on from Man of Steel and it was nice to see them chime on it again.
