I'm on the DC animation side, the only Marvel cartoons I can ever remember enjoying were the 90's Spider-Man and X-Men series.

But with DC I love Justice League, Batman: TAS, The Batman, Young Justice, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, and Superman: TAS. Can't wait for Green Lantern: TAS.

DC has a lot more quality series. But Marvel has their gems. The Spectacular Spider-man, for instance.

I like both... But I prefer DC cartoons because as adult I still enjoying JLU, Batman TAS, Batman: Under the Hood, etc... Marvel cartoons aren't that good, but I have enjoyed The Spectacular Spider-man and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but not that much...

DC. Batman, Batman Beyond, Justice League, JLU, etc. They took themselves seriously, while the 90s Marvel shows... I mean, they were good, but a lot of the dialogue was just too campy.

Teen Titans was a little weird in some episodes. The season finales, however, were almost always good. I especially loved the episodes in the last two seasons.

Lately....Marvel.....DC seems to go to far out there with their series....Batman:Brave and the Bold for example...while I know that there are a lot of people that love this series...I couldn't stand it....I do love Young Justice but the announcement of the new Batman series doesn't fill me with high hopes...same with the new Green Lantern series

Marvel seems to take their characters more straight forward....Spectacular Spider-man was pure Spider-man plain and simple and was my all time favorite representation of Spider-man outside of the comics....Wolverine and the X-men...man I love huge season storylines and that's what we got with Wolverine and the X-men...it's really a shame that both of these series got cancelled and I hope that Ultimate Spider-man is even half as good as Spectacular Spider-man was.....Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes....man I love this series...it may not be sticking with the stories of the comics but man did they get the character portrayal right...so amazing

DC Animated Features blows Marvel's Animated Feature with more intense storyline and animation. Also they do come up with regularly unlike Marvel.

no no no you're all confused:

Did Bruce Timm produce it? Was he associated with it?
Then it beats everything else out of the water. Even Anime.

@CODYSF: Marvel. I'll give DC some credit, their animated movies are bad @$$. but Overall, I say marvel for myself. especially with the New Avengers show? that came out WAY better than expected. Just has a stupid theme song. OH And the first two Transformers seasons were made under Marvel.

Yes!!

DC hands down, Marvel seems to focus on pandering to young children, The X_men anime is definitely the direction their animated products need to take

DC. They did/do EVEYTHING better.

Marvel makes up for it in the live-action department.

But as far as animation is concerned, DC is king.

Spectacular Spider-Man was GOOD? I never tried to get into it, after Spider-Man: TAS the animation looked silly. But I did love Spidey and X-Men, TAS, and X-Men Evolution. However, DCAU in a spitestomp. Batman and Superman TAS, Justice League, JLU, Teen Titans, The Batman, Young Justice... zomg.... *fapfapfap*

It's pretty much even for me. I loved Spectacular Spiderman, Spiderman from the 90's Earth's mightiest heroes, X-Men and on the flip side, I enjoy JLU, Batman Beyond, Superman TAS, Batman TAS and Young Justice.

Atm I'm really liking DC. Young Justice and most of DC's Animated movies have been great. However, Marvel is great too, I really love the Avengers show, and am looking forward to the next season (Black Widow will finally join the team).

DC animation has always been superior to Marvel's. Honestly it's no contest. Besides to pure ratio imbalance, DC's got quality animated material. Marvel's is rarely up to par. DC has a dozen animated tv series and movies where as Marvel has maybe a few series, and they aren't really anything watchable.

DC rules the animation and Marvel rules the live action. What DC needs to do is a big-budget full length theater release animated movie. How awesome would that be?

I'm more of a Marvel guy, but like the DC animation much better.  As an adult, it just has more appeal to me and has more depth and maturity to it. The Marvel stuff seems to cater more towards kids.
