@thespartanb345t: Captain Marvel died in 1982 and he still hasn't come back. I think Captain Marvel will be one of the few comic book characters to never come back to life along with Uncle Ben and Gwen Stacy. Plus his send off was really good and dying by cancer > dying in battle imo. It really showed the morality of superheros especially since Captain Marvel was made to be like the Superman of marvel in terms of power.

Superman if we are only counting the death part and not the return. The story became a mess after he died.

Superman's wasn't really that good imo. Wolverine was a much better story.
