I know there are a lot of Bat followers, and you aren't gonna like what I say. Regardless of that, I feel that this need to be said. Dc Comics has oversaturated their comics with Batman and or batman associated titles. Yeah he's a cash cow, but is it fair that Dc fans can't see their favorite DC characters in their own title because Bats has like 7 titles out there, plus another 4 or 5 associated with his name. That's ridiculous! I'm not saying this to anger Batfans, but has anyone noticed how many titles have been getting canceled by Dc? I'm just saying! I wouldn't be suprised if Batmite gets a mini series. Why don't they just compile the Bat stories in his titles, like they've done with Shazam , it would certainly make room for other Dc character to ahv e their own title, and possibly shine over time, instead of cancelling the title in short periods of time.
Are there Too Many Batman/ Bat Titles in Comics
Haha. Too true my friend. I don't know what we can do when even the worst of them is selling in the top 10.
If they are buying like that then why not make some of the titles, back stories. This would allow other character their chance in titles, as well as variety to DC. If they are confidant in Batman then they could tweak the price slightly due to having an extra story arc in the book.
For me, I would ask which ones are doing things the others aren't doing?
If we are talking simply Batman comics, then we have to include:
1. Batman
- Batman seems to be the standard-bearer these days for the franchise, so that one needs to stay.
2. Batman Inc.
- Grant Morrison comics are on another level beyond just good comics. If he wants to write your character, then by all means, LET HIM. This comic cannot be eliminated.
Those titles are the minimum we need. I'd say there is room for at least one more Batman title. It should be filled with more traditional Batman adventures against more traditional Batman foes, for the fans who are reluctant to get into the broader, far-reaching stories found in the other two titles. Detective Comics is the venerable title so that comic should take on that role, and if this were a perfect world, these adventures would be helmed by Pete Tomasi, assuming we'd have to remove Batman & Robin for being redundant in the shadow of Batman Inc.
As for the Batman-related titles, I wouldn't get rid of Nightwing, Catwoman, Batwoman, or Birds of Prey. I could live without Batgirl, though.

I'll be honest; there are too many. But most of them are pretty good so....
I agree there are alot, but at least they are good
@evilvegeta74:
What do you mean by that? Do you mean making Batman a back story in one of his books or increase the length and price of the book to hold two stories?

Because DC is dumb and greedy.
Well, to be fair, almost all of the Bat titles are pretty good.
However it could be worse, they could have X Men title numbers
I would say that there aren't enough quality Batman titles. As it stands, only Scott Snyder's BATMAN is really the epitome of excellence (a lot of you might also say B&R, but I didn't find it plausible).
I mean, the hardcore Batman fans will buy the horribly written titles, such as Batman: The Dark Knight and Detective Comics, and that secures DC more profit. So, to answer your question, I would say yes. It isn't so much as it is a bad thing, only if they are poorly written.
