I stopped playing my current character because I'm gonna be on the PS4 version of DCUO (today, actually :D) I have a few friends who are really good at it and can help you level up, so I'll ask if they can help you out.

Bane? you mean the level 10...I don't want to call him a boss but I don't know what else to call him...just shout in open world for help...there's probably a ton of other players out there doing the same quest who would be more than happy to run through it with you...or heck I've been bored as a lvl 30 tier 4 armor player and just gone out and helped noobs for the heck of it
I played if back when it first became free to play on ps3. I had alot of fun with the game at first despite some limitations (hard to use the interphase on a non Hd television, frequent lagging, occasional server crashes). Simply the mechanics of maneuvering around the cities with all three of the movement styles made the game worth playing (I particularly liked the flying).
However eventually I got to this weird point where I couldn't even play some of the scenarios I'd paid for like Central City and the defense of OA because my level wasn't high enough. At the same time it because incredibly hard to keep leveling up. That combined with my previously mentioned problems lead me to quit playing.
Definitely something I might give another chance to some day though.
