Kinda wish I never bought the trades of Lemire's Green Arrow now. Hard to justify buying it twice, but dang I want that collection.

On the flip side wish I hadn't just got the hardcover of Johns Flash vol 1, as this is way cheaper and I'm struggling to find the 2nd and 3rd at a reasonable price, and I'm sure this means they will be rereleased.

First off Justice League 45 is gonna be awesome. Now we see why Manapul hasn't been on Detective lately.

And we also learn why Tomasi isn't writing Robin anymore.

When Jim Gordon is approached by the Justice League to solve a series of mysterious mass murders, he must turn his focus away from Gotham City and test his mettle with the World’s Greatest Heroes!

With all due respect to Jim and the years of service as a cop he has, what exactly warrants the JL seeing him? He really is not that smart compared to its members and has no tech or experience that another member can't bring to the table. With Bruce you could argue he is the worlds greatest detective but Jim probably does not even rank in the top 40.

DC has almost me. I'm in for Batman. That's it. It's a shame to see that there is an ongoing series of Harley and Power Girl, but there was never an ongoing of Power Girl and Atlee!?! (Power Girl's series that featured her doesn't count as much as an ongoing could provide).

"The critically acclaimed 'Darkseid War'" lol wat?! How could they know that? lol I know they'll buy the critics. It's weird that they put this so early on the sollicits.

And the Justice League is defeated and needs Batman to save them, really? How many times they'll make it that way? That's why I dislike batman in group comics.

The retailer note on Prez #5:

Retailers: This title now will run six issues.

Wow, cut down from a "guaranteed" 12 issues (with the possibility of it going longer) to just 6 after only having the first issue out. Sales must have been absolutely abysmal. Shame, because I thought it was legitimately laugh-out-loud hilarious.

Couldn't help but roll my eyes at that. Such lazy writing to win over Batfans by betraying him as the last man standing when all these power houses are defeated. But it is okay cause Batman has planz!

That isnt true because

  • Both Power Girl and Harley Quinn arent being much sexualized by one, In fact looking to the poses the male is the one who would be the most sexualized of the three.
  • Rape? Yes Power Girl looks borred but she probably could left the pool or hot tub since doesnt look there is anything from stop her leaving.
  • You are being worst than Female Thor´s Writters.

That Green Arrow by Jeff Lemire HC is a must-have for anyone who wants to read and/or own a great Green Arrow tale. It's a shame he had to leave the title even though he had more ideas for it.

I already own the single issue comics, but if I can sell those and buy this instead, that's an extremely tempting option.

oh my god why is EVERYTHING DC puts out since 2011 such crap?

Then there's also nonsense like "pretty boy imposter" Lobo, and we have to keep pretending that Cyborg isn't hilariously out of place in the justice league. Seriously he's like the Zoidberg of the JL now.
