Ok midnighter is like a fighting guru he can' calculate every fight scenario in his head so he instantly knows if he can win. All this aside he can be outgunned but even when he was taking over to fight his own team in an issue he anaged to burst appolos ear drum with a well times hit an out calculate his allies even the doctor and jenny sparks who are pretty much omnipotent between them,
Red Hulk has the raw power for sure but if he can be beaten midnighter will know how and will be capable of carrying it out.
