The Leader of the Flag Smashers, who is also the most established member was unable to avoid a gunshot from Zemo, although he did appear out of nowhere, he still took a while before he actually took the shot, so the whole ordeal wasn't really that sudden. Trio Members will be much quicker to take shots:
Also, as mentioned that's the best member of the team, pretty much the only one with any showings, the rest of the team will fare even worse.
