Zod didn't use his blade that much. He only did that when he was enraged at Jor-El and his wife for letting Superman go. There's a reason he lost in the first place in a brawl with Jor-El. However, when the time gets tough, it's not too much to say that Zod may whip out his blade. That being said, Batman's armor is pretty tough too. Zod's blade probably went through because he stabbed Jor-El in his non-armored part (the blue section). Batman also has non-titanium padded sections of his armor too.

I think nothing Includes his Sword.

Sword? He only had a retractable blade from his suit. The blade is a part of the suit. "Nothing" I meant Zod had no gadgets or extra weaponry, like the laser guns that he and his soldiers used to dispatch the High Councilor/the laser gun Jor-El used to kill Zod's minions when they raided his home.

Batman wins. He'll have the range advantage given his tech.

Didn't lucius even say himself, that baby will stop a knife cold (talking about armor). Zod wasn't even that skilled tbh.

If you are referring to his armor, you are correct. However, there are non-titanium padded parts of the Bat-Suit. Even Lucius said it himself that it was more susceptible to knives, gun-fire, etc. etc.

That's why when Talia got up close, she was able to easily shank Bruce. Same thing with Jor-El's armor and Zod knifing him, he was close enough to stab at the part where Jor-El's armor was weaker (the non-armored/blue section). I certainly think Zod has a chance to be able to close the gap.

@yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: Sorry, didn't finish the OP =( Bat's wins. Zod probably has recovery like link, but batman has at least some recoverability.

@yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: Zod can fly, and thus cannot die on Final destination unless Batman hits him all the way off immediately. Zod also hit him like Ike hit's jigglypuff, so that's probably not happening, Zod wins on Final Destination 100% of the time IMO.

I don't think Zod can fly without his powers or in the state he was in on Krypton. He was riding on the air vehicles the Kryptonian Insurgents used when they invaded Jor-El's home. If anyone can get back on the Final Destination platform, it's Batman with his grappling hook (that's not to say Zod can slice the cable with his retractable blade).

Zod had his butt handed to him by Jor-El... Even though Nolan's Batman is not all that impressive, he should be able to handle Zod, probably not as easily as Jor-El (who in fact stomped Zod), but Bruce will do the trick.

Bruce isn't getting through Zods armor, he's attacks get ignored and he gets worn out and overwhelmed.
