Rampage Jackson vs Rashad Evans

Alot of people hate on Rashad cause his cocky and arrogant. But he's fast as hell and his stand up has come along way. Rampage is good but extremely limited in my opinion. Having said that I really don't know.......smart money would probably be on Rampage, but I'mma pick Evans.

My heart says Rampage, but my brain says Rashad.

Even though he just barely won a close decision over Rashad's teammate Keith Jardine in the last 10 seconds? I think you are vastly underestimating Rashad's abilities.

Rampage's skills are proven

Rashad record is mostly wins against no names
while Rampage has wins over quite a few great fighters

Rampage also lost his belt to Forrest Griffin (who lost it to Rashad). He's also been active 5 years longer than Rashad. Taking that into account, Rashad has done much better for himself in his shorter MMA career than Rampage has. His skills are proven, as evidenced by him being the UFC LHW champ.

You could say the same for rampage though too. after his one loss he's already bounced up into contendership by taking out good fighters

You absolutely can say the same for Rampage. I just don't think Rampage's abilities totally eclipse Rashad's. Rashad is faster, and trains with a much better camp. Rampage's game plan is usually his weak point, whereas anyone coming out of Greg Jackson's camp is bound to have a pretty good strategy coming into the fight. Rampage's style isn't exactly hard to figure out, and I think that's what will prove his downfall if the two ever meet.

Wolfslair is hardly up and coming. Unless you really like Cheick Kongo and Bisping or something. Rampage's strategy against Jardine was pretty abysmal.

I hate Rashad... feelings aside he is a great fighter, and technically superior to Rampage, great fight hope Rampage wins.
