1. Porter stomps.
2. Porter wins.
I don’t see why Porter wins round 2.
He takes 1 though.
R1: Porter stomps.
R2: Probably Vader, though Porter can pretty easily be argued to be competitive through scaling
R3: Vader likes to duel, which would be a problem here. I'd give it to Porter a majority of the time, with the exceptions being Vader immediately realizing he's outskilled and finding a way to win through Force abuse.
@frozen: Tags broke. I transposed round 2 and 3. It's a close fight that Vader could win. Round 3 Porter wins.

I see. Vader definitely wins force. Probably loses all out.
I can't help but look at Porter and just think he has two massive tumors on his head...
lol. I always think tree stumps myself.

Hellboy
What is the overall argument for Porter winning here that I am clearly missing?
Many statements, both in and out of universe, have him above Yoda in lightsaber skills, Vader isn't there. He also has claim to having pretty good TK due to being a strong duelist, which is Force based, and because he focused both on sabers and TK during training, giving him great scaling in the HR.
I also think he wins the all out round because Vader tends to engage in lightsaber combat first, which wouldn't go well for him against Porter.

Eh I dunno if it's similar. With Hellboy I can clearly tell they are just shaved down horns, with Porter...they just look like tumors to me. XD
@frozen: How's he losing the all out if there isn't a great enough force disparity for Vader to abuse?

Why do you think the force round is close?
@frozen: Vaders force feats don't put him in another tier which would be required to solidify an all out win.

Porter’s scaling would only take his force power near to HR Yoda, who is ~ AOTC Yoda, who in turn is ~ AOTC Dooku in the force. Imo suit Vader at his peak is quite a bit beyond Dooku in the force.
@eredin12: u have rotj relative to rotj sidious. which sources prove they are equals exactly? i m genuinely curious
I think I made that comment in relation to Legends, not canon. In Legends there are indeed several sources confirming that Vader is both relative to ROTJ Sidious power-wise and better duelist than him. As for evidence of that, you can find it all here:
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/profile/reaperace/blog/final-reckoning-the-true-power-of-darth-vader/166195/
@eredin12: no i know it was legends, just thought sidious being superior to vader was at least wellestablished in legends. in canon its a different story for multiple reasons
Sidious is bit stronger, but they are on same level, it is close, that was my point and what that blog wanted to show. In fact, I would say ROTJ Vader and ROTJ Sidious are closer in legends than in canon so far.

So he might be above someone who has no connection to Vader, in raw skill, not implementation?
@kfvnegs: that was from the fanhome Star Wars encyclopedia iirc

Surely hr Yoda is quite a bit beneath rots Yoda?

I feel like that won't matter at all. The idea or concept that he's more skilled than Yoda STILL won't allow Porter to outduel Sheev, like Yoda did, for example. Porter has skill, but it's being used by someone so much weaker, that I'm not sure it matters.
I don't agree with Yoda = Dooku as of AOTC.
Yoda was clearly more powerful in the force. The only reason people think Dooku was equal was his own statement, and hes a sith... so grain of salt to begin with.
Yoda even specifically says "much to learn, you still have" while pretty casually blocking all of Dookus junk, and even at the end just absorbing it because he can't even be bothered.
I also don't agree that the 900 year old Yoda progressed at all between AOTC and ROTS. I mean look at what you are saying... HR Yoda = AOTC Yoda, so over a hundred years and yet you think he progressed none in that time, but you want us to believe in the THREE years between AOTC and ROTS he made a meaningful jump? Nah fam... not buying that.
