Fight between the Justice League's two resident shapeshifters (well, other than J'onn that is). New Earth versions for both, fight takes place on the Justice League Watchtower.

@professorrespect: I take it Plastic Man is yet another instance of a character once considered great now not?

No, he's just always been mediocre. Metamorpho has better stuff to use on a offensive basis.
@professorrespect: Huh. I thought Plastic Man was considered incredibly powerful and one of the better "stretchy" characters. *Shrugs*

Outside of that one fight with Fernus, idk how people could think that lol.
@professorrespect: Didn't Batman once say something about Plastic Man surviving in pieces on the ocean floor for a great length of time?
I believe the quote goes something like this:
"Plastic Man survived for 3,000 years as little more than crumbs scattered across the Atlantic. If that doesn't give you an idea of the level of power he hides behind that smile of his, then you're brain-dead."
-Batman to Atom
Did this happen? I haven't read the story in question, so it's just hearsay for me.
@shroudofsorrow: Yeah that was the same run lol
Metamorpho kinda stomps.
@professorrespect: Ah. So he was unusually powerful in that particular story/set of stories.
Perhaps I should have specified it's that iteration of Plastic Man...

That's a fact about real plastic, doesn't really matter in a fight.
@nostacioler: I mean it is a durability feat isn’t it?

Not really, he is still effectively disabled, he's just not dead. Besides, ice can incap Plastic Man fairly easily, and I think Metamorpho can produce ice by turning into liquid helium
