Basic setup is Carnage moving to Spiderman to defeat Venom but Venom takes on The Punisher to stop him.
There was a What If where Pun got the symbiote and basically broke it down, so we'll say that Punisher has control for the most part, but has managed to twist pun's mind enough to make Spidey look the bad guy. Carnage however is internally fighting with Parker and Parker decides to accept the power for the time being to defend himself against the Pun/Venom situation.
This combat takes place in a giant open field with nothing to grip onto and swing around.
