Optimus Prime vs 10 Giant Sentinels

Can he do better than Colossus? 
Prime has his standard gear and that includes the Matrix. 
He has heard of the Sentinels before, but has never encountered them. 
This battle happens randomly 
The Sentinels never heard of the Transformers. They were targeting a mutant until Optimus got in their way.

Optimus Prime's tactics, battle intellect and experience should give him the edge. If he's wielding the Creation Matrix from the Marvel comics, he could simply deconstruct them since it can manipulate lifeless metal constructs.

Sentinel are strong but use very few tactics in combat while Prime on the other hand will able to adapt at the situation at hand. Optimus is in for a tough fight though.

prime has agility and reaction speed. something the sentinels do not have.

But Sentinels Get Their Asses Kicked By Mutants Everyday. 
 
Hmm...I'm Gonna Go With Optimus Due To The Fact That The Sentinels Have Never Heard Of TFs, So If He Did End Up Getting His Ass Kicked He Could Always Just Run Away And Hide Then Turn Into His Vehicle Mode and The Sentinels Would Probably Just Leave And Continue Pursuing The Mutant They Were After.

If this is Nimrods, Optimus dies horribly.

Prime went down pretty easily in the movie. Sentinels destroy him.

@Edgeworth_11: That was a movie........never go off of live action comic book movies because they are not always the best resource. If your talking about the 1986 movie which was cannon and was apart of the series then he did not go down easy, he put up a fight until it killed him.......

Personally im going with Prime on this one. I mean it would be a great fight and the sentinels would get some very good hits in but I am saying on the long run that he would win. Plus he does have the Matrix so that really helps him out.

Which version of Optimus Prime is this exactly? The one in the picture appears to be the Dreamwave comics version. I know because War Within Optimus is in the upper-right hand corner and War Within was a story written by Dreamwave.

All Optimus has to do is transform and run them over.

Sentinel's main ability is to adapt to counter mutants right? Optimus has no specific powers, he's just a boss. :P

@ghost_rider2007: oh I know you didn't mean to offend its just the rules. They don't really care if you cuss you just have to censor it from what I've seen. He fought only stone representations of unicron not the real thing. The original primes were brothers not every single one. Sentinel is usually a father figure to Optimus in most continuities. In some continuities though, ultra magnus and megatron have been brothers of Optimus

With the Matrix and Energon, Optimus could take on Sentinels. It wouldn't be hard to imagine Megatron wrecking giant sentinels either and Optimus has better stats than Megatron imo

In Transformers, all continuities have their own canons (and yes it's spelled 'canon'). Otherwise, 30 years worth of fiction would have been non-canon.

Optimus Prime should win, simply due to being on par with Marvel Comics Base 616 Thor.
