That makes 23rd Budokai Goku's punches at least moon level . Luffy can clear round 1 but he gets pasted in round 2 by either Goku or Piccolo. Even in Super, in Beerus fight, it was shown that both their punches and their blasts are universal as well. That was always case in DBZ but Roshi busting moon is an outlier.

Piccolo going all out barely destroyed a small island, but sure, they are casually moon level here cause "muh databook"

Yeah beerus and goku were going to destroy the universe with their punches. You also have frieza surviving a sb but being hurt by goku's physical attacks. He also survived a ki blast by ssj goku with half his body but was being hurt by ssj goku's slaps. And piccolo tanking goku's kamehameha but being hurt by his physical attacks is another good example of how physical attacks scale to their blasts. And actually higher. Considering the amount of damage goku was doing with his physical attacks against piccolo who tanked his kamehameha. And the ssj goku example.

Goku also stopped future trunks sword swings with his finger. The same trunks that butchered mecha frieza before vaporizing him. And goku stopped a punch from an angry ptsd future trunks that thought goku was goku black.

Luffy could've stomped 1 & 2 ages ago. That is at no difficulty. Anyone saying otherwise is a dumb wanker who probably hasn't even read Dragon Ball.

He isn't going to end Cell ever at all. Cell gets mad at being punched and just nukes Luffy rather easily.

Roshi destroy the moon and later say he destroy the moon. Kami recreating the Moon. King piccolo say he going to destroy continents every year for fun. And with dbz guides book said they both goku and master roshi is moon level.

Everyone in dragon ball can destroy the moon but they used up all their power to busting the moon. Is not like in z where they can do that without effects.

Regarding Roshi, the only stat he beats Luffy in is AoE Destruction. Try as people may argue this is the deciding factor, Roshi isn't going to blow himself up with his own attack, so moon levels of destruction won't happen or he'll get caught in his own blast. Winning by suicide isn't a win.

Every other stat: Speed, strength, durability, stamina; Luffy wins in all of them. Roshi's only way of hurting him is with a huge Ki blast and if he misses he is severely drained. That miss is quite likely due to Future sight.

Too many factors involved for Roshi's lucky one shot kill to land. So Luffy wins.
