With a days prep that means tony and bruce banner know they are fighting superman. You give those two a day its possible they can beat MOVIE superman. Its unlikely so i give it to Supes but I would entertain the notion of them beating him.
With 1 day prep Iron Man can in theory get some Kryptonite. Since they also take Superman by surprise, seems like they'd win pretty easily. It all just depends on whether there's Kryptonite somewhere that they can learn about and get to in 1 day.
The only kryptonite I'd imagine they'd find would be the prop from the film in LA. The person who bumped the thread made it so to be intentional spite.
Who said morals were on? And where is IM going to get kryptonite? And shouldn't it be noted that even though they take him by surprise, he's so much faster than them, he's stronger than all of them put together, and he can teleport. If morals are off superman will stomp this, hard.
With 1 days prep they destroy him. Banner and Stark can reconfigure some electrons to reverse the polarity of a blah blah and create a Kryptonite gun. Science is pretty ridiculous in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and radiation etc is right up their alley. Hulk 2003 could probably give the wildly inconsistent movie Superman a decent tussle anyways especially if Abomination spends 24 hours kicking him in the nuts until he grows to the size of a small building or something.
@Fifthchild Superman moved the MOON. He would casualy trow Hulk 2003 into Orbit or trow the Moon at Earth killing them all. It does not matter what those 2 put togeder, actualy its what Stark can put togeder. This is Hulk + Stark and not Banner.... They have no way to get K in there Universe and they have no way to know what properties it has aside from the "it effects the guy with an S on his chest".
@xan84 He also couldnt stop a bus that was sliding down the street at about 20 km/h. In fact people thought it had killed him. Like I said - he was all over the place. The idea that because he moved the moon he could "trow the Moon at Earth" is ludicrous. Yes it says Hulk but it also says Iron Man - I'm assuming Stark is allowed to take his suit off for the 24 hours of prep and i think its safe to assume that Hulk doesn't have to spend it running around smashing stuff.
As for your third point you are ignoring the way science works in these movies. Assuming Kryptonite was an actual thing i think they could infer a lot from a rock that gives off radiation after it blows up to a guy that gets powers from the radiation from our sun. That doesn't make much sense to me but i think it would probably make a lot of sense to people who can pinpoint cosmic artefacts by mumbling some stuff about spectroscopes and then spending 10 minutes in the lab randomly touching a few iPads. Giving prep to guys like this against someone with some of the most exploitable weaknesses in comics is not a great idea.
^^^^^If he had stopped the bus on a dime he would have killed the people in it. He's way too strong for team 2. And how, exactly, do you think they'll create a kryptonite gun in 1 day?

Thats ridiculous. As i said it was moving down the street with all the speed and intensity of an old man going to fill a prescription at the local pharmacy. And Supes got pushed backwards and squashed and everyone thought he was dead. Yes this Superman had some space cheesey moments but there were a lot of times when he looked pretty ordinary.
And how, exactly, do you think they'll create a kryptonite gun in 1 day?
Probably the same way they did every other ridiculous thing they ever did like become an expert nuclear physics in a couple of hours or build a miniature arc reactor in a cave - with comic book science. They dont even have to create a Kryptonite gun - it would be clear from watching the film and seeing his reaction to both sunlight and Kryptonite that there is something going on with him and certain wavelengths of radiation. Science. iPads.
Again Superman is probably the most weakness-exploitable character in comics and you are literally showing two super Braniacs a movie about his life, his origin and his weaknesses and giving them 24 hours to find his off switch. Hell if it was Reed Richards i wouldn't be surprised if he invented a couple of new Kryptonian weaknesses while he was at it.
Morals mean nothing. Superman is faster, stronger, smarter (due to his Kryptonian heritage) and overall better. And this is coming from a true blue Marvel Fan. First comics I ever read were Daredevil and Deathlok. First Super Hero television show was Spider-man and his Amazing Friends. So this has me believing this was made by a DC fan, so that they could stomp marvel for doing so good at the box office. Lol. Anywho, to make this even half way a fight then Jean Grey (Last Stand) Silver Surfer (Rise) Cosmic Doom (Rise) And Magneto would have to be added to this.
@Fifthchild. If he had stopped it abruptly, the people would lurch forward and be injured, especially since the bus was turned sideways and people were about to fall out the window.
Even if morals are on, I don't think the hulks and abomination would count on his don't-hurt-humans list. He could also just rip ironman's suit off. None of these 4 are strong enough to pose a real fight.

I'm sorry but thats just not what the movie shows. Superman is shown with great strain on his face and he doesn't even succesfully stop the bus (or in fact notably slow it) in the end - it smashes into the building. I doubt that was part of Superman's plan not to hurt people. And then Superman is out of the fight for 90 seconds while everyone thinks he is dead and the other Kryptonians blow people around Metropolis. Its just the way those movies (and indeed comics of the time) rolled.

^^^^This. And @Fifthchild even still, he is much stronger than anyone on team 2.
Possibly (i think "much stronger" is going a bit far) but as i've said i think given the scenario theres every chance in the world that Banner/Stark take him out before it even gets to that stage.
Reeve stomps

How can they even take Superman by surprise he can hear everything on the planet.
He in the films was taken surprised by Luthor time and time again.
@fifthchild: because 2 strong kryptonians threw it.
