MCU Crossbones vs Netflix Diamondback

• MCU/Netflix versions, as stated above
• Both have their respective armoured suits
• No prior knowledge
• Both are in character
• Fight is to the death
• Fight takes place in Times Square

Been done before but I'll lock the other one since this one is more detailed (and generally we prefer more detailed OP's).

Crossbones punches him in the face for the one shot. He's not an idiot like Luke Cage.

And yea I think crossbones just stabs him assuming all diamond back has here is his suit.

Then why didn't he just stab Steve while he was distracted? Instead of punching his behind

Are you talking about at the very start of the fight? Probably because he wanted a fight with the man who mutilated his face.

@jashro44 Thanks, I did google it, but as is quite often the case when I google fights, it didn't come up. I appreciate that, I prefer detailed fights myself.

@silverrings: Far stronger and durable in my opinion, and he proved the suit's durability extends to piercing resistance when the police shot him up and it had no effect. Crossbones is more skilled, but DB isn't unskilled.

Diamondback hits harder and is more durable. We know he was a boxer so he is not unskilled. I just don't think that Crossbones has any advantage.

For the reason rogueshadow mentioned. While Rumlow is more skilled, I don't think he has physicals to hand with Diamondback. Though his knives(?) could be a game changers if he tags Diamondback in the face.

Diamondback can one-shot him.

I'd back him TBH.

My main reason for voting Crossbones is those blades. If those gauntlets' punches are strong enough to punch through reinforced doors I get the feeling they could probably puncture Diamondback's suit.

I think Diamondback punches much harder than Steve.And whyle he can dent AR 500 plates,he could kill Crossbones with one punch

Cap ended that fight with one good kick. Meanwhile, Willis took multiple shots from Luke and was dominating most of the fight. With punches strong enough that can give Luke trouble, Crossbones goes to sleep after a couple hits.

@kingofwakanda: Cap ended that fight with 7 punches, an elbow and a kick.

@bladeoffury: They weren't consecutive. Crossbones was fighting through most of that. If were being real, the fight ended because his gauntlets were broken and he no longer stood a chance. The kick just sealed the deal.

I'll still take Diamondback for putting on a better performance against a similarly stated opponent.

@kingofwakanda: Damage gets accumulated, and half of those hits were dealt consecutively at the end of the fight.

@bladeoffury: It's a moot point anyway. One good kick or half a dozen blows, he didn't take as many hits as Diamondback did from Luke or do as much damage to Cap as Diamondback was doing to Luke. Seems to me, Diamondback has both superior damage output and damage soak.
