    Jokes on you, readers

SPOILERS, and did I mention the spoilers? Because they're a thing here. Anyway I'm reading the Villain month issues to give the new reader perspective. Not the most knowledgeable on Harley but I think I've got a good grasp of the basics of her character.

    The Good:
This is really hard for me. I don't hate this issue I just have trouble thinking of anything that really stood out as good about it. Everything was "okay" at best. I guess it does a good job of doing what it's trying to do even if I don't quite like what said thing is. The way she got her costume back was nice. Oh Deadshot's in this issue and I like him so there's that.

    The Bad:

Okay, so first off the art for this issue completely clashes with the tone. It's not bad art in itself but the cartoony style just doesn't fit at all. Plus this issue seems to be really digging into the dark and I don't feel like much of it fits. Killing piles of children for no reason just doesn't seem like Harley's MO and the whole "can't feel emotion" thing feels like an attempt to add more to the character without actually making her more interesting.

    Overall:
Didn't like this issue, it felt mostly dull and kind of out of character based on what I know about Harley. Not really sure who'd want to read this. Maybe someone who's always wanted Harley to be more edgy and violent.

      Harleen or Harley? 0

This is one of the Villains Month issues that I was half looking forward to, but was slightly sceptical about. I did however become more excited about the issue, as after finding out that Harley Quinn was getting her own series I've been really looking forward to it, seeing this as a teaser.PlotNow out of the Suicide Squad, Harley returns to Gotham City to wreck some havoc.ReviewThis was a decent story, though it didn't feel like the same Harley Quinn I've enjoyed over the years. Matt Kindt did ...
