    Bringing Norman´s Empire Down

In a world where Norman Osborn is the chief, Spider-Man will have to dig deep to show everybody the true colors (get it? Not the flag ones, but green and purple) of him. Following this pattern of logic Dan Slott writes a beautiful and amazing story for Spider-Man (and this is something that all Spider fans are suposed to read and enjoy, if you are or aren´t reading Dark Reign). The adventure that takes place in this issue is non stop, as Norman chases Spider with total disregard for the people´s safety (and still they take Norman "Iron Patriot" Osborn for a hero and Spider for the bad guy, what makes Peter´s theory about the dumb pills even funnier, oh, the irony). Spider´s puns towards Norman are classic and very smart and he proved that he can beat Norman in a regular basics, being him Goblin or Patriot. Adam Kubert´s art is simply fantastic (ok, the dude only pencils 4 to 5 comics a year, but they´re totally worth it!!!) as he didn´t limited himself on drawing 3 to 4 panels in each page, giving a great dynamic and speed as he penciled 12 panels in one page for example!! The hot pursuit of Norman for Spider is amazing and very rich in details. Apart from the magnificent art (that undoubtly is the best thing in this story, but withou the script it would have been just a beautiful issue) I give all the credits for Dan Slott, specially when he wrote the dialogues and narrative (giving tips to Kubert of how to position the characters, the scenario etc) of Peter Parker and Norman in the Cyber Cafe, totally awesome!! The only thing that I didn´t understand was the fact that Norma didn´t know Peter was Spider-Man; when did this happened? Is this an effect of "Brand New Day", "One Moment In Time" and all this Quesadian comedy? Highly recommended issue for the web headed fans!!!
