    Because Galactus can only truly feed on the energy of planets that can sustain life.

    Although he could use the Cube to create a bunch of those....

    True. Seems like he could also create some sort of machine that could convert the energy derived from nuclear fusion into life-force energy and he could feed that way or one that converted solar radiation into life-force energy and park right next to any number of suns and feed for billions of years.
