    You better know your continuity

I would say spoiler alert but considering that the description gives away the big twist I dont think its necessary. This is the story that brought back Jason Todd from his brutal death in A Death in the Family. It not only brought him back but brought him back as an anti hero that questions Batman's methods and a very complex relationship with him. The interactions with Batman are great and when it stays in the Batman universe it is phenominal. Too bad the writer decided to butcher a great premise by including other elements from the DC Universe that feel out of place. Did Captain Nazi need to be in this story? You would think that this story would try to be tied heavily to A Death in the Family and only that story but it doesnt. I would hate to be a reader who doesnt know about the events that also happened like the Death of Superman, Green Arrow's death, the time the Secret Society of Super Villains dropped Chemo on Bloodhaven, and brings back Jason in the most awkward way. Other elements that I didnt care for was how Black Mask an angry and incompetant buffoon and Amazo's unnecessary inclusion. I also think the story could have been told in 5 or 6 comics and not 14. This story still had many great momments and is a must read, but I recommend you learning more about the DC Universe in order to know what happens. Or dont you might be able to piece it together yourself. I just think this was a great story that is hampered by the larger DC Universe when it could have been condensed a little bit.
