Ray Fawkes and Ben Templesmith on DC's GOTHAM BY MIDNIGHT

Whatever happened to Crispus Allen or whatever his name was? I never saw the need to bring back the Spectre's original host. I predict an appearance by Simon Dark.

It's a Spectre book with some police procedural set in Gotham,but it's still a Spectre book,how can you make a Gotham book? like seriously even the show has Gordon as the lead,next you'll be telling me it's not about Gordon.

Did these characters appear on Eternal yet?

I'd consider getting onboard if I could get confirmation that Templesmith is the permanent artist rather than just a (relatively) big name they got for the launch who will leave after the first arc.

Sign me up, love the artist and I think the Spectre is a character who could use more time in the spotlight.

I second the post re: wish Ben Templesmith had of finished out Ten Grand. For that matter I wish he and Warren Ellis had of delivered more Fell.

My goodness people love complaining. First they ask for more diverse books, so when obscure characters get one, they complain that THEIR person favorite characters don't get one. Now complaining about the title?!

Face it, if it were called "Spectre" no one would buy it, this is good for business. It's why New Avengers isn't called "Illuminati"

"They put out more Batman books again....." Batman sells. That's it. Don't like Batman then don't buy it. But this book sounds interesting as Gotham was much of a supernatural place as crime ridden one. And Ben Templesmith is amazing!

Really excited to see a supernatural style book. Also glad to see it have Gotham in the name to make other pick it up and give them a chance to like it instead of just writing it off because they never heard of The Spectre

I feel like this book should be released in October, not November. Why would DC miss that opportunity to brand their horror book and create a campaign around Halloween? Anyway, I'm pretty stoked for this book. Don't think Jim Corrigan get's enough love. Can't get enough of him in Batman Eternal.

SOunds cool but meh. DC still not putting out character books that deserve one.

With Gothan in the title to get people to buy it since you know Bats is in Gotham.......not knockin it, it's strategic marketing

not interested, i saw a video that describes it by the makers, they say its about the stuff that goes bump in the night that batman can't deal with and has to ask for help, so theres a few cops/csi and the spectre(who clearly couldn't hadle it on his own), but together they deal with vampires and ghosts and whatnot . . . great

Both are more mainstream Super-hero stuff. This is a dark title with Gotham in the title and no relation to Batman whats so ever. One of these will surely be cancelled before issue 10, my money for some reason are in Gotham Academy.

More Batbooks huh? DC makes books strictly for Batfans, they don't care about other fanbases.

Kinda lame really,it's obviously not a Batman book or even a Batman family book,like Assault on Arkham it's about someone else but uses Batman's name. This is a Spectre ongoing series,but it still wont stop the flood of BATMAN HAS TOO MANY BOOKS from coming.

Gotham by Midnight what an odd title. I thought it was already well established that the sun has fled Gotham because it fears the wrath of The Batmans?

Any one care to fill me in on Corrigan's status quo in the n52? All I know of him is how he was portrayed in Gotham Central as a crooked crime scene analyst.

So much think you can do with The Spectre. You can tie in to Constantine or Justice League Dark book. Just saying
