Here we go. Week 2 of Spider-Man, Brand New Day. I didn't mind it. I don't know what Marvel's long term plans are. I think people will demand that Peter and MJ get back together. It was funny that in the issue that they "break them up" they have the nerve to reprint the wedding issue. Funny. I also think that maybe Marvel is looking at this as you can't have any bad publicity. Are people really going to stop reading Spider-Man? Maybe some. Enough to really make a difference? I'm thinking probably not. With three issues a month, they'll probably have more sales. I love Spidey. Always have for as long as I can remember. I'm not happy with One More Day but last week's issue wasn't bad. I want to see where this is going to go. What's going to happen with Harry and the rest of the Marvel Universe. What about Jackpot? Is it really MJ? Will she be in issues of The Intitiative? Guess we'll have to wait and see. They also say if you want to show Marvel that you want Peter an MJ together to boost sales of Spider-Girl where they are still together.
Then there's Messiah CompleX. So is Sinister out of the picture? Is Gambit good or bad? The same question can be asked about Cable or Bishop? Is Predator X going to feast on some fresh young X-Men? Will the Baby Mutant ever get a name?
Can't wait for Iron Fist and New Exiles either.
