The Santa Fe New Mexican Newspaper lets everyone know it’s ok to grow a sruffy beard this week as the upcoming film Cowboys and Aliens is looking for extras.
Finally, a role that doesn’t discriminate towards people like me: men with facial hair. It’ll be nice to see some killer mutton chops and the silver screen, maybe some 10 o’clock shadows, and long goatees? If only I didn’t trim mine up this morning, I could have been in this film! What about non-Native American woman? Are there any roles for them? According to the casting website, yes!Get those beards a-growin! Cowboys and Aliens is coming to New Mexico this June, and is searching for men with facial hair, mutton chops, mustaches and long goatees… The film… also wants Native American riders, children and women. If you have the chops, visit www.egcasting.com for more information.
Women will have to have long hair and we will cast in smaller sizes: size 8 and below, sorry it is a wardrobe availability problem.
Size 8? I’ve seen a lot of westerns, and I remember many buxom beauties in those films. Isn’t size 8 too small for a buxom beauty? I’ve never understood women sizes since they’re not in inches, like men’s sizes. So there seems to be many opportunities for many different types of people in this film. I’d personally love to stroll down the town square, gun at my side, keeping the law and order in town because I’m the type of guy that asks questions in the Olde West, I don’t answer them! I'd hop on my horse, Olde Rusty, and we'd ride down the dusty trail together... until them darn-tootin aliens busted in! I'd then have to brand my own kind of alien-hating justice in order to win the hearts of women all around me and save my town. I may even have to work with my enemies... Did I just have a fan fiction moment? You're darn tootin right I did!
What type of background character would you like to be in Cowboys and Aliens?
