It's time for another edition of Best Comic Book Covers of the week where the staff of Comic Vine picks out some of their favorite covers! We also ask our followers on Twitter to let us know what they loved as well. Let's get right to business.
SILVER SURFER #2 by Francesco Francavilla
First up, this week, is SILVER SURFER #2 by Francesco Francavilla. This cover really gives the reader the look and feel for this character. He's just a guy floating through the cosmos. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Francavilla is amazing.
SERENITY: LEAVES ON THE WIND #4 by Dan Dos Santos
Up next is SERENITY: LEAVES ON THE WIND #4 by Dan Dos Santos. Dos Santos does a great job giving the reader Kaylee's inner-awesomeness here. The painted work and colors look so beautiful as well.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 by Marcos Martin
Here we have AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 by Marcos Martin. There were a lot of really cool variant covers for this first issue, including one from Alex Ross, but this one just stood out as the coolest. The cover has a fantastic perspective.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: SIX #1 by Jenny Frison
Next is BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: SIX #1 by Jenny Frison. She has done some amazing cover work for Dynamite recently, and she hits another home run here. Six has this beautiful sadness in her eyes. The shading and colors look fantastic here and really add to the total image.
SHADOWMAN: END TIMES #1 by Giuseppe Camuncoli
Finally, we have SHADOWMAN: END TIMES #1 by Giuseppe Camuncoli. This is one eye-catching cover. The color work is pretty simplistic at first glimpse, but it gives this overall cover such a cool look and feel.
Time for the Twit-pick of the week. This was the cover you guys let us know you liked the most.
DEADLY CLASS #4 by Wes Craig and Lee Loughridge
Your pick was DEADLY CLASS #4 by Wes Craig and Lee Loughridge. This is a very cool cover and it works well because the composition is so weird yet so intriguing.
