    Doop, an extremely powerful member of X-Statix, suffers a literal brain seperation. The Avengers and X-Statix race to collect the pieces and the teams get into conflict all across the globe. When the confrontations result in an ancient Asgardian threat being loosed, both team up to destroy it. The Avengers, impressed by the courage of their temporary allies, allow X-Statix to leave in peace.

    "Are you ready?" The Cure is X-Statix 0

    The X-Statix is a highly celebrated run in comics for many reasons.  It was allowed to go in any direction Peter Milligan ( Sub-Mariner: The Depths , Shade, Human Target) wanted, Mike Allred (and a few other talents along the way) supplied the most appropriate are this series could ask for.  The former fame crazy "X-Force" team to change their name to X-Statix, now comes to an end in this last volume.  With an Editor like Axel Alonso ( ...
