    Raven Knows Kung Phu

    Here is where I eat a little crow about my comments about character progression. In this case, Raven has apparently gone from mature woman who keeps her emotions closely gaurded to a kung fu queen jumping around and making jokes.  Now I can understand Nightwing would have shown her how to do a couple of moves, but I still percieve Raven as someone who would not get physical until it was a last resort.  
      That being said, the book was surprisingly not all that crappy. Bryan Q. Miller put together at least a decent script, and artist Angel Uzueta has made us a decent atmosphere, one that was foreshadowed by an excellent poster quality cover. It is good to see that Ravens siblings aren't being forgotten, and I would not mind seeing them again. 
      Yet on the other hand, I am pretty sure the Titans have created a rogues gallery over the last 30 years. Either way, I guess I can get used to the new Raven.  I look forward to the next issue.
