Solar Hawk hails from a parallel earth, she is the first and last of the Hawk Lords of ancient Egypt, servants of the god Amun-Ra. In this earth, she was catapulted through time during the final battle against Set and died. She eventually became the hero known as Luna Hawk under the incarnation named Kendra Saunders Hol. On the parallel earth however Solar Hawk, or Shaeyera Hol, was catapulted through both time and dimensions. She arrived in our reality on the mysterious home world of the vanished White Lanterns. There Shaeyera discovered the secrets of the ancient organization and used her ring to travel to our earth.
She now operates here under the heroic name Solar Hawk, seeking to bring about the resurrection of ancient Egypt and its gods and the establishment of the old order. Though her ends would enslave the people of Egypt to long dead gods, Shaeyera means well. Her last memories of Egypt were of a society descending into chaos and now that she has come to our Earth, she sees much of the same here. Egypt is ruled over by wannabe tyrants and its society threatened by religious zealots. To Solar Hawk, the old ways represent peace, prosperity and order. With the White Lantern's power at her command, she has the ability to restore Egypt to its former glory and bring back the Hawk Lords to enforce the old ways.
Powers:
Like all Hawk Lords and like her Prime Universe self Luna Hawk, Solar Hawk has the ability to forge Nth Metal into weapons, armor, bullets and other useful forms. She carries an Nth Metal mace and has also taken the liberty of crafting a new Nth Metal helmet with modern technology forged into it to provide up to the second information through an advanced sensor suite, internet capable database search functions and military tracking, information and tactical displays. Solar Hawk has also crafted other military weapons, but has put them away in Thanagar in an Nth Metal vault. She also has access to the full range of White Lantern abilities.
Extra Human Durability.
Super Human Strength: Up to 25 tons of striking power.
Combat Specialist.
Limited Regeneration- Like Luna Hawk, Solar Hawk has limited healing properties that are not fast enough to use in combat but will heal all but the most fatal of wounds in hours.
Super Sonic Flight- Solar Hawk can fly as fast as modern military aircraft, but is not fast enough to leave the atmosphere without using her ring.
