    Creation

    Otis is Lex Luthor's bungling henchman from the 1978 film Superman and 1980's Superman II. Otis was played by Ned Beatty.

    The character of Otis later appeared in the Comics of Smallville: Season Eleven and belongs to the "Smallville"-Continuity. He was created, as an employee of Lex Luthor by Bryan Q. Miller.

    His first mainstream continuity appereance was in Forever Evil #2 - Rats as a security guard of LexCorp.
